Pacific Shorewood Women’s Cruiser Bike 26-Inch Wheels Review
I bought Pacific Shorewood Women’s Cruiser Bike for comfort, style and its features. I spent about 4 weeks searching and researching entry level/budget friendly Comfort/Cruiser bikes and decided on this one even though assembly was required. It was exactly what I was looking for: higher and wider handle bars positioned so I can sit upright and not hunched over in the racing position, a wide saddle for ultimate comfort so I can focus on enjoying the scenery while I ride instead of discomfort, and a cruiser bike with hand brakes and more than one speed. I was overjoyed to find this bike has 7 speeds!!! I would highly recommend this bike to any woman looking for a comfortable ride with style.
Also I ordered Pacific Shorewood Women’s Cruiser Bike because I wanted the comfort of a cruiser bike, but I still needed to be able to get up and down hills. It took me about 1-2 hours to put together and the directions were a little confusing because the manual is actually for several different types of bikes. You have to flip through and find the instructions that pertain to this bike. While it was a little confusing at times, I did just fine. I have been riding this bike constantly since then. It is so comfortable. I feel like I am a little kid again. I just ride around with a silly grin on my face most of the time. If you are looking for a simple, comfortable and inexpensive bike, this is it. I highly recommend it!
I bought this bike for casual riding around the neighborhood, and a comfortable ride while doing it and this bike fits those needs perfectly. There’s nothing I’d change about this bike, including the seat, which I understand many people change in hopes of more comfort. Considering the look, the comfort, the durability and the price, I’d say you can’t pass on this bike.
As I said already Pacific Shorewood Women’s Cruiser Bike is very comfortable to ride. You ride in a straight, upright position. It is a seven speed, with a large padded “quick release” seat that can be instantly adjusted without tools. The gears are shifted using a dial on the right handgrip. The system works very well and shifting through all the gears was smooth. The bike conveys a solid feel without being overly heavy. As a guide, the shipping weight was just over 50 pounds.
I like the bike very much. It is exactly what I wanted. Riding has been a pleasure for this casual recreational rider. The bike overall is surprisingly good, especially given the low price. It feels nice and solid, it’s very comfortable, and it looks great!
