GMC Denali Women’s Road Bike (20″/50cm Frame) Review
GMC Denali Women’s Road Bike is great for the money. I have used it for about three months now and have no complaints. I bought this bike to do my first sprint triathlon. Of course it is not as good as most of the $1000 bikes that the rest of the riders had, but it was a great beginner bike. After a quick tune-up it has ridden perfectly.
The bike arrived 3 days after I ordered it and was exactly as I expected. Assembly required, brakes and shifters needed to be adjusted, but the frame was reasonably well put together, and everything worked. The bike is easy to put together and works great with only a minor tune up.
The bike rides well and shifts precisely after the cables have been set. Shifting is easy and the brakes work very well. It’s a 21-speed racing bike with lightweight aluminum 7005 mixte frame. Shimano REVO gear shift system puts you in control Also the shocks work well for a smooth ride, and the stock seat is really good. One thing to note though, a standard size bike water bottle is too big to fit where the cage attaches.
GMC Denali Women’s Road Bike is a very good bike for the money. I enjoy it immensely. Of course, it’s not as light as the bikes that are over a thousand dollars, but it is fun to ride, shifts fairly smoothly, brakes well and feels good on the road. Definitely the bike to buy if you want to try cycling without the huge investment! I would recommend this bike to anyone.
