The only real problem I’ve had with it is that right at the end of a 10 mile ride the right pedal snapped and by that I mean the bolt tore through the plastic of the pedal which is probably more my fault than the pedal because my foot slipped and I pushed down on the edge of the pedal. My main recommendations would be if you buy this bike upgrade the brakes and by some steel pedals for any heavy abuse. For a 140 dollar bike this is probably one of the better ones out there. I do like the look and feel of the bike.

I have used it to ride back and forth to work many times and it seems to be holding together. So far I have had to tighten some bolts replace a tube, and buy some bicycle inner tube lining to prevent flats I just got to many, and some new breaks (my fault did not tighten them). I have left it out in the rain a little and no signs of rust or signs of were.

The bike was more than I was hoping for. The quality of the frame is great. The black paint has an awesome metal flake finish in it. The chrome fenders are unique and set off the bike well. It has nice alloy wheels and the seat is comfortable. The only item I did not care for was the handlebar stem which I replaced. It’s a great bike for the money. The bike came in perfect condition. Looks like it’s of better quality then my  friends Funji and weights pretty much the same. I have had mountain bike all my life and I do have to say riding a road bike is a totally different experience. The components are all very good quality, Shimano shifters, very good derailleurs, good brakes, excellent tape job on the handlebars. The frame is solid, good welds, beefy and still light enough to carry easily with one hand. I finished assembling it, and making all the adjustments. The assembly was a breeze, everything fit like it should, no problems at all.

Assembly is honestly not difficult at all; I didn’t even open a page of the manual. However, when I finished assembling it, I did a test-riding as I mentioned, and I found that the brakes were too close to the wheel frame and the slight friction was making annoying rubbing noises. The seat is very comfortable.

After having it properly built the bike is perfect! I really love it. It is durable and sporty enough to take off road, but also light and comfortable enough for leisurely rides.
