Chromium Pacific Men’s Dual Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels)
I bought Pacific Chromium Men’s Dual Suspension Mountain Bike a couple weeks ago and started to use it continuously. I got this bike, mainly because it was cheap and I wanted something to help get me in shape. First off I’m a bigger guy and by that I mean I’m overweight, but this bike fits me well. I haven’t had any trouble with the tires blowing out with all the times I’ve ridden it, it is a bit of a heavier bike and it does have some cheap parts (mainly the brakes and the pedals).
The only real problem I’ve had with it is that right at the end of a 10 mile ride the right pedal snapped and by that I mean the bolt tore through the plastic of the pedal which is probably more my fault than the pedal because my foot slipped and I pushed down on the edge of the pedal. My main recommendations would be if you buy this bike upgrade the brakes and by some steel pedals for any heavy abuse. For a 140 dollar bike this is probably one of the better ones out there. I do like the look and feel of the bike.
I have used it to ride back and forth to work many times and it seems to be holding together. So far I have had to tighten some bolts replace a tube, and buy some bicycle inner tube lining to prevent flats I just got to many, and some new breaks (my fault did not tighten them). I have left it out in the rain a little and no signs of rust or signs of were.
I believe this product is good enough (a work horse). To get there from here, sort of speak. On the positive side I have taken it on many Sunday rides with no problems, and I would recommend to a friend.
